With currently, more than 10 million downloads, featured 3 times as App of the Day by Apple, and the first case study ever done by Google Play in Latin America Papumba is one of the fastest-growing subscription apps for kids in preschool age.


What are we looking for?

We are expanding our Growth Team, looking for an entrepreneurial Growth Marketing Specialist with great communication skills, a data-driven mindset, and a passion for creating a significant impact through key optimizations and features during the customer lifecycle.



In this role, you will be responsible for the strategy, execution, and optimization of user engagement marketing and work cross-functionally within Marketing and with Product to drive better conversion, engagement, and reactivation for Papumba. We look for candidates with a passion for testing, a bias to action, an ability to both build strategy and create buy-in for it, and a relentless focus on the customer.

  • You own Engagement in the upper and mid-funnel of our customer lifecycle strategically and across appropriate channels. From the moment the user enters the app profile page to the moment they start the trial.
  • You develop and own offers, including but not limited to seasonal promotional prices, special plans, or discounts, with a data/ROI perspective.
  • Perform analysis on features’ performance and find opportunities for optimization.
  • Align closely with the Designer on all deliverables.
  • Collaboration and strong alignment with other internal teams (e.g., Data, Content, Brand, Product).

Some of the areas or Channels you’ll work are:

  • CRM/Comms: Conceptualization and continuous optimization of multi-channel campaigns and automation.
  • App Store Optimization: improve app visibility within the app stores and increase conversion rates, running different tests and experiments (Icon, screenshots, title, description, keywords).
  • Definition of pricing strategies, tests in regions and countries.
  • Optimization of App conversion funnels and prioritization of developments in the application, improving the onboarding UX.
  • Lead our Content Marketing strategy, creating and distributing relevant and valuable content to attract, acquire, and engage customers: SEO, Creation of custom product attributes Web Landings
  • Define campaigns and seasonal Offers, WinBacks strategy, and Billing Retry comms.

What we need from you

To be successful in this role, we believe you need at least 3 years of experience in Engagement Marketing (or similar). Having worked in a fast-paced product-driven environment, especially in Subscription Models or App businesses, is a big plus. To be more precise, you should demonstrate:

  • Strong business acumen, sense of ownership, and a growth mindset: You own your channels, strive to grow them, and are driven by the impact you have on them.
  • A strong analytical foundation, knowledge of Product Analytics, or areas related to making analysis and provide a data-driven approach.
  • Expertise in mobile marketing, whether it be notifications, in-app messaging, or app store optimization
  • Understanding of mobile technologies and user experience design patterns, and the innate curiosity and desire to learn more.
  • Bachelor’s degree or Advanced career in Engineering, Business, Marketing Psychology, or related field.
