About Papumba

Papumba is an EdTech Startup looking to transform the way kids learn and interact with technology. With a subscription mobile app, we help kids in preschool age around the world develop 21st-century skills through play. 

With currently, more than 10 million downloads, featured 3 times as App of the Day by Apple, and the first case study ever done by Google Play in Latin America Papumba is one of the fastest-growing subscription apps for kids in preschool age.


What are we looking for?

At Papumba we have an exciting challenge for 2021: to launch, after our initial success in selling directly to parents via the Appstore and Google Play, our B2B business.  

We are looking for a Business Development Manager broadly focused on the business, defining strategy, planning, and execution of Papumba’s B2B efforts, making Papumba available as a corporate benefit to employees and, in a second phase, to schools/teachers/alumni. Make B2B sales a crucial growth driver for Papumba. 



  • Be the leader of all new business development strategies.
  • Design and execute Papumba’s B2B Sales strategy to improve employee wellness by facilitating sales to mid-size and enterprise companies across regional territories. 
  • Create and organize our own sales team and ideate a possible channel's strategy development.
  • Design and launch digital marketing and advertising campaigns (SEM, SEO, Influencers, specialized Media, PR) to promote our value proposition.
  • Identify customer needs through dialogue with prospects.
  • Respond to inbound interest regarding Papumba and how we can help them build a more resilient and caring organization.
  • You will actively participate in and contribute to internal discussions and debates regarding challenges and strategy.
  • You will own the responsibility for analyzing opportunities, negotiating agreements, and making commercial decisions with partners, seeking advice from subject matter experts, as needed.
  • Start the ideation process of Papumba for Schools-Business Opportunity.
  • Contribute to the Papumba Schools and Enterprise (iOS, Android) product roadmap


What we need from you:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and judgment.
  • Ability to work proactively, independently, and reliably under tight timeframes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively cross-functionally, think practically, and be solution-oriented.
  • Experience with negotiation and performance analysis, both of which will be data-driven.
